wael is a mixed-media artist who needed business cards, a catalog of his work that he could distribute to galleries both in the us and abroad, and a website that would show his artwork, allow viewers to view detail, and be navigable in multiple languages.

this project is a combination of many elements: a typeface of the client's choice, the colors present in the season's clothes, commissioned illustrations, and professional photography. the final result was a full marketing package: business card, website, hang tags for the clothing, and a 24-page catalog.

this massage therapist has a bit of programming knowledge, and needed a website that she could update herself. rather than implement a costly content management system, where she could log in to an administrative section of the website to make changes, i built a sort of "shell" in php, and set it up on her server so she can edit the content.

we started with a business card redesign and applied the basic elements present in the card to full-color advertisements in magazines, double-sized postcards, and other marketing materials. the oversized postards were sent out to the gallery mailing list, but they also double as effective takeaways for walk-through traffic.
